The Centre for Ethics, Politics and Society at the University of Minho (CEPS UMinho) invites expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates to apply for a fixed-term research position (up to 6 years) under the Scientific Employment Stimulus Program funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). The selected researchers will be hired by the Center through FCT funding, according to the following scheme:
Junior researcher: Ph.D. researchers who have obtained their degree within the last 5 years, with limited experience in post-doctoral research;
Assistant researcher: Ph.D. researchers who have obtained their degree earlier than the last 5 years, with research expertise in the scientific area of application and limited scientific independence;
Principal researcher: Ph.D. researchers who have obtained their degree earlier than the last 5 years, with research expertise in the scientific area of application and proven scientific independence over the previous 3 years;
Coordinating researcher: Ph.D. researchers who have obtained their degree earlier the last last 5 years, holding the Portuguese qualification of ‘Agregado’ or ‘Habilitado’, with a curriculum of high merit and recognized leadership in the scientific area of application;
(The 5 year-limit period is calculated from the closing date of the call)
